Can't Download Adobe Flash Player 8,9/10 6676 reviews

In order to keep my Twitter ephemeral, I delete all my tweets every 2-3 weeks and unfollow everyone every few months. And when I slowly follow people back, they get sort of upset I unfollowed.

If you have a PC and are using Firefox, Installing Adobe Flash Player goes as follows.
1. Go into tools and click Add-ons
2. Disable Adobe Acrobat
3. Go to the Adobe.com and download Adobe Flash Player
4. Close Firefox completely
5. Install Adobe Flash Player normally
6. Go into Firefox and repeat steps 1 and 2 this time Enable Adobe Acrobat.
Adobe Flash Player should now work.

A few words of thanks would be greatly appreciated. Add comment

If you have a previous version of Adobe Flash player installed on your system, you must first unisntall the previous. To this you can go to the Adobe Website and download the unistall program.
Go here to download: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/141/tn_14157.html?promoid=DTEGO
Save the unistall progam to your desktop and close all programs.
*Be sure to close all messenger programs as well as the browser before running the uninstall program.
Once you have uninstalled the flash player, you can then install the Adobe Flash player.
Go here to download the latest version of Adobe flash player: http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
Good Luck!

I had the same problem after the last Firefox update. After hours of uninstalling and reinstalling, I decided to try this.....and it worked like a charm :)
1) Close all browsers
2) Go to C:WINDOWSsystem32MacromedFlash
3) Copy 'NPSWF32.dll'
4) Go to C:Program FilesMozilla Firefoxplugins
5) Paste 'NPSWF32.dll'
6) Restart browser

Can t download adobe flash player 10go to http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/otherversions/ and choose the other versions VISTA/XP option, Firefox will be listed as well, and download that version of Adobe Flash Player...you'll have to do it from Explorer though, with Firefox closed.

This worked for me (Vista + Firefox user) after getting the NPSWF32.dll error:
1) Close all browsers
2) Go to your c:windowssystem32macromedflash folder
3) rename 'NPSWF32.dll' to 'NPSWF32.old'
4) Install and test

I had the same problem. It frustrated me for quite a while until I figured out that if you uninstall your current flash player and then download adobe flash player specifically for vista and firefox using internet explorer (close firefox) it works fine.

Being a little green on the computer I could not load 'ADOBE Flash player' on to my laptop ! Kept coming up with a message Adobe Flash needs to run at 32bit and I was running on 64bit, I have windows 7.
I found that in the (start up menu all programs) they was two Internet explorers/
one 'e' had 64bit and one had 32bit I picked the 32bit 'e' and the Adobe Flash PLAYER WORKED FINE !!! HOW EASY WAS THAT!

The newer versions of windows Vista may be 64 bit and flash player is not supported at or below Adobe flash player 9, player 10 is supported. Most newer computers that have both INTERNET EXPLORER 64 bit, AND INTERNET EXPLORER 32 bit installed. Go to the start menu on the task bar open all programs and you will see Internet Explorer, and if its installed Internet Explorer (64) bit icons. Select Internet Explorer if you view youtube or the like and it will A. download B. play your videos.Player

Can't Download Adobe Flash Player On Mac

Thank you
Hello guys, I have found a fix that works for Google Chrome and FireFox. First uninstall Flash Player, go to 'Start', 'Control Panel', 'Add or Remove Programs', then finally remove Adobe Flash Player 10. After that, close ALL windows. Now, go in your Internet Explorer browser. Go here - http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/otherversions/
Just copy and paste it to your Internet Explorer browser. Next, click on Windows 7/ Vista/XP/2008/2003/2000. Then circle the 'Flash Player 10 for Windows - Other Broswers'. Run and install. Hopefully when you go into Google Chrome or Firefox this works for you, thank you for reading.
Things you could have done wrong -
1. You didn't use Internet Explorer
2. Didn't close EVERY other window.

I have struck this problem many times and it has sent me insane Luckily my hair is already grey.
Here are the steps I now use with 100% success.(12 times out of 12)
Run regedit
Search the registry(CTRL F) for flash (put a space after the word flash)
The first key it finds, try and delete and you will find it does not allow you to.
Which is why the install fails because it cant overwrite the key.
Right click the key and click on permissions.
Select either the everyone logon or domain users if you are on a network and give them full permisions. Click advanced select the box for replace permission entries and apply.
You should now be able to delete the key.
Press F3 to search again and repeat the above for the second key found.
Flash will now install.

I also couldn't get Adobe Flash to install on a new Windows 7 computer. At first, I got an 'unable to register' error. I followed the instructions posted here to install and run Microsoft's SubInACL program, and that error went away but it still wouldn't install. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling multiple times (including running the installer with Administrator privileges), and tried installing from IE and FireFox. It would say it installed successfully, but still wouldn't run. When I'd visit the Adobe's web site it would say I still needed to install Flash.
I submitted a trouble ticket to Adobe and got a quick response. They had me do the following:
In Internet Explorer 8 click on Tools then Internet options then the Advanced tab then choose 'Reset Internet Explorer settings'.
Download and run install_flash_player_10_active_x.exe from Adobe
Navigate to C:WindowsSystem32MacromedFlash (may be a different path if you're on the 64-bit version)
Right-click FlashUtil10d.exe (you might have a different version), click the Compatibility tab and select 'Run as Administrator.' Click OK and run the program.

That did it. The difference must have been the first step - resetting IE. I had tried all the other steps repeatedly.

Thank you
was getting error as 'cannot override FlashUtil10b' ...options were to Abort,cancel,Retry...was unable to play my games over the Internet (frustrating :-) BUT Solved It! ;->
1. System wil not allow us to delete the Macromad folder from C:WINDOWSsystem32Macromed.
So,Disable Add ons.. refer above few solutions.. instead delete the flash folder in Macromad.
2. Install the Adobe, if u di not have adobe version, u can download it from www.downloads.com
Hope it works for u too...Best of Luck

I WILL TRY TO HELP YOU BECAUSE I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM, BUT WHEN I READ THREAD I DIDNT FIND ANY ANSWER SO WHAT I DID. I WENT TO THIS WEBSITE PAGE. ((((((((( http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/191/tn_19166.html ))))))))))) COPY PASTE THAT AND THEN SCROLL DOWN TO NUMBER 5. THEN THERES AN OPTION THAT SAYS 1. Download the executable Flash Player installer:
* Flash_Player_10_ActiveX (Internet Explorer for Windows only)
* Flash_Player_10_Plugin (All other Windows browsers)
I CHOSED THIS >>>>>>>> Flash_Player_10_Plugin (All other Windows browsers) AND IT WORKED FOR ME. IM SO HAPPY. I HAVE MOZILLA STILL. GOD BLESS YOU ALL. THANK YOU JESUS :')

I was having the same problem, kept trying to download/install it with firefox but it always failed. Tried all sorts and kept failing. Till now!
All I did was uninstall firefox, than opened up IE and downloaded adobe flash player 10 (for IE). Installed fine, videos work. Then I renistalled firefox, didn't need to download flash player again. Everything working fine straight away. So might want to try that. Hope it helps.
